Our Server
Rules.
We run and admin
our servers so that everyone can have a fun and enjoyable time
playing Battlefield. In the following sections you will find
certain rules and explanations that we use to control the level
of play and the amount of “advantages” that certain
players like to abuse! If you have been kicked or banned from our
servers please read over the rules and understand that we
don''t play the game here to be the best individual
player on the planet, the Drunken Mafia play as a unit for the
overall good of the team and we expect you to do the same on our
servers!
TEAM KILLING
Intentional TK''s are not allowed on our
server at anytime and for any reason. If you accidentally TK
someone please either use the radio command for
“sorry” or type it quickly as
“sorry/sry”. If you TK for a vehicle you will be
kicked immediately, this is considered your first and final
warning on the matter. If you return and TK again you will be
banned, permanatly depending on the severity.
FORCE TK OR TK
PUNISH
Deliberatly causing team damage or forces TK''s will
not be tolorated. This is a bannable offense.
PUNISH FOR ACCIDENTAL
TK
If you punish your teammates for accidental
TK''s you will be kicked from the server. Accidents
happen, forgive your teammate whenever an accident happens.
Continued abuse will result in a permanat ban.
VEHICLE STEALING
Do not steal vehicles that belong to your
teammates! This includes cars, tanks, APC''s, and
whatever else is out there! If your teammate is in a vehicle and
he gets out to repair or revive a player and you steal his
vehicle, you will be kicked. Again this is your first warning
… your teammate waited for the vehicle, don''t
steal it from him while he is attempting to be a team
player!!
You may enter the enemy spawn and take a vehicle from there AS
LONG as you get in and out reasonably quickly! Do not camp out
and kill the enemy as the spawn, refer to “Spawn
Camping” section for further details on this!
ABUSIVE LANGUAGE, RACIAL SLURS, DISRESPECT OF
PLAYERS & ADMINS
Under no circumstances are you to belittle,
ridicule, or otherwise disrespect any player on our server.
Racial comments will result in an immediate and permanent ban,
other comments such as “noob” or some variation of
that will result in a warning for abusive language. Do not abuse
players on our server. Disrespect of any DM member is ground for
immediate ban.
CAMPING UNCAPS/SPAWN
CAMPING
Base Camping/Uncaps - there is no tactical
advantage to camping the uncapturable bases on the enemy side
other than to improve your personal score and upset the other
team. You cannot gain ground or use it as a spawn point.
Therefore all uncaps shall be considered off limits as far as
making ANY offensive moves toward the other team. This means no
attacking!! You may run in and steal the tank/APC but you had
better high-tail it outta there afterwards! THIS INCLUDES
ARTILLERY ON AN ENEMY UNCAP BASE!
Spawn Camping – unfortunately EA has made only a few
points where the team can spawn in on a certain map point. Do not
sit in a tank, APC, Helicopter or just lie down with your
gun and camp these points!! It is very frustrating and it does
nothing for your tactical position, get in and cap the flag or
move along. If you park/lie in a certain area racking up the
kills instead of capping the flag you will be kicked, and most
likely the enemy will now have your vehicle!
STAT
PADDING
Stat padding will not be tolerated on our servers, no exception.
Play the game right and earn points the correct way. Any
player(s) caught stat padding will be banned permantly.
CHEATING/EXPLOITS/MACRO''s
The use of cheats on our servers is unacceptable.
We run extra cheat detection software other then Punkbuster and
use of any modified content will result in an automatic and
permanent ban.
The use of exploits such as getting inside a wall or building is
prohibited. Purposely using an exploit to gain an unfair
advantage in the game will result in a permanent ban.
HOTSEATTING/COMMANDER/TEAMPLAY
Our servers are ment to host CLEAN, FAIR, and FUN TEAMPLAY. Using
such tactics as "hotseating" in a chopper, or flying a
plane while commander does not support the vision of TEAMPLAY on
our servers. Such gameplay is considered unfair and selfish
thus it will not be allowed on our servers.
PLAY THE GAME RIGHT OR GO
PLAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
WRAP-UP
The Drunken Mafia and its players reserve the
right to play as a team on our servers. You may be kicked to make
room for DM members at any time.

RIGHT TO ADMIN OUR SERVERS AS WE SEE
FIT!
Follow directives given by DM members. If you are banned from one
of our servers your ban will be listed in the server bans section
listing the reason/violation that occurred. You have every right
to appeal your ban to the clan AS LONG as you do it in a
professional and respectful manner!
